Note for rock wool pipe installation

Clean the surface of the pipe. Ensure that the surface of the pipe is clean and free of dirt, which is conducive to the bonding of the rock wool pipe.

Measure accurately. Measure the length and diameter of the pipe, and prepare the corresponding specification of the rock wool pipe section.

Apply light pressure. Applying moderate pressure will make the pipe fit tightly, but too much pressure will flatten the fibre glass structure.

Pay attention to the joints. The joints should be filled with insulating mortar to prevent heat transfer through the joints.

Layers. Multi-layer rock wool structures need to be stacked from the inside out to prevent gaps from forming.

Consider expansion. Depending on the temperature, allowances should be made for expansion of the pipe to avoid damage caused by thermal expansion.

Fixed reliably. Use clamps or rope to fix the pipe body moderately to prevent it from loosening and falling off in transport or use.

Attention to fire and corrosion protection. Apply fire-resistant or anticorrosive coatings to the surface of the pipe as necessary to prevent deterioration.

Safe operation. Operators should wear protective gear to avoid the risk of injury or death during installation.
