Rock Wool Pipe Insulation
ISOKING Rock Wool Pipe is manufactured by spinning a molten mixture of natural rock and recycled products into fine wool like fibers.

Rock wool pipes can be classified by their performance features and application scenarios, with the common types as follows:
• Ordinary rock wool pipe: Suitable for thermal insulation of general pipelines
• Aluminum foil rock wool pipe: Aluminum foil is pasted on the outer wall of the rock wool pipe to enhance moisture resistance.
• Aluminum silicate rock wool pipe: Combined with aluminum silicate fiber, it has a higher service temperature and can be used in high-temperature steam pipeline systems and other occasions with high temperature requirements.
• Hydrophobic rock wool pipe: The rock wool is treated with hydrophobicity, with a hydrophobic rate of ≥98% and low moisture absorption rate, which can effectively prevent water from invading. It is suitable for pipeline insulation in humid environments or with waterproof requirements, such as toilets and basements.
• Fire-resistant rock wool pipe: As a Grade A non-combustible material, it is added with high-temperature resistant additives, boasting a high fire resistance limit and no toxic flue gas when exposed to fire. It is often used in places with strict fire protection requirements, such as the insulation of building fire pipelines and cable trays.
Rock Wool Pipe Insulation Installation Steps
Installation Preparation
1. Pipe Surface Treatment
Ensure the pipe surface is clean, dry, free of oil, rust and loose debris; conduct rust removal and anti-rust coating for metal pipes if needed.
2. Material and Tool Preparation
Cut RS 800 rock wool pipe sections according to pipe length and joint positions, reserve appropriate gaps for thermal expansion; prepare stainless steel strapping, aluminum foil tape, protective jacket , cutting knife, tape measure and other tools.
(We also supply matching auxiliary materials including aluminum coils, steel straps and insulation fasteners for your easy installation and use.)
3. Safety Protection
Workers wear dust masks, protective gloves and goggles to avoid direct contact with rock wool fibers.
